Saya Hashino obtained a bachelor of piano at Tokyo National University of Fines and Music (Geidai), afterward until 2002 she worked as the assistant professor and collaborative pianist of the same university. In 2005 she obtained a Master of piano soloist with the special prize « Georges Filipinetti » at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève. In 2009 she obtained a Master of organ soloist with the special prize of organ « Pierre Segond » in 2007 and 2009 at the HEM.
She has won various competitions international: 1st Prize « 14th HIMES Competition » in Japan, 3rd Prize « 14th Calabria A.M.A Awards Concorso Pianistico Internazionale » in Italy, and the price Special Jury encouraging and that the best French music performer during « 6th International Piano Competition Highness Royal Lalla Meryem » in Morocco, finalist of the « 7th International Music Competition Jean Françaix» in France. Diplomas « 1st International Bach/Liszt Organ Competition» in Germany, «2nd International Daniel Herz Organ Competition » in Italy.
Saya Hashino as soloist, chamber musician and orchestra, piano, organ and harpsichord with such orchestras as the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo, the Geneva Chamber Orchestra and Ensemble Contrechamps and in many international festivals such as Verbier Festival, Heures d’orgue de la cathédrale-Genève, Festival de Piano de Genève, Estivales de Megève, Sommets du ClassiquE, Schubertiade, Festival international de musique ancienne Megève – Pay du Mont Blanc, Das Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, New Music Week of Shanghai, Festival Amadeus, Biennale of Venise, etc.
Since 2005 she holds the position of collaborative pianist appointed to the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève and organist of Saint-Germain Church of Geneva. She is the Amadeus Piano Quartet with Robert Zimansky (violin), Verena Schweizer (viola) and Stephan Rieckhoff (cello).
Saya is also as official collaborative pianist for numerous of international competition such as Menuhin Competition, Concours de Genève, etc.
She performed especially with the international soloists, the clarinetist Wenzel Fuchs, trumpetists Ole Edvard Antonsen, Timothy Morrison, Eric Aubier, Reinhold Friedrich, Gérard Métrailler, Hans Gansch, the hornists Esa Tapani, André Cazalet, the cellists Anton Niculescu, François Guye, the violinists Robert Zimansky, Bogdan Zvoristeanu.
Also very active in the field of contemporary music, she practiced in various forms. She was the pianist of Lemanic Modern Ensemble more than 10 years and 2012-2015 she teached as a visiting professor, and all contemporary music piano solo at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne.
