Ideally situated at the foot of the Jura mountains and only ten minutes by car from Geneva airport, the Academy and its festival take place in a calm setting conducive to quality working conditions at the Château and the Conservatory of Ferney-Voltaire as well as at Fort l’Ecluse, a remarkable example of military architecture from the 16th and 17th centuries on a steep mountainside.
